Ecostore / Body Care Range (Special Group)
A bold graphic identity and packaging for Ecostore's new body care range.
Inspired by their philosophy of 'only using what you need', a collaboration with
New Zealand artist John Reynolds saw the minimum amount of marks necessary
used to tell the story. The illustrations are designed to work alone, as pairs or as
a complete line up. The result is highly distinctive and original packaging that cuts
through the retail clutter. Artworks by John Reynolds.

Royal New Zealand Ballet / NYC Triple Bill (Special Group)
Campaign identity for the Royal New Zealand Ballet's Triple Bill, inspired by
the city from which the three dances originate: New York City. Bright lights and
iconic skyscrapers form the highly crafted background for the main shot, and to
contrast, a pared back 'New York fashion shoot' style is used for the individual
show images. Photography by Ross Brown, 3D light modeling by Andy Jacobs.

Royal New Zealand Ballet / Sleeping Beauty (Special Group)
Campaign identity for Royal New Zealand Ballet's production of
The Sleeping Beauty, a classic and beloved masterpiece retold with a
brand new production. The lushness of the layers, textures and forms
communicate the rich experience of the newly designed theatre set,
whilst not giving it all away. Photography by Ross Brown, illustrations
by Rachel Walker.

Quina Fina / Tonic Water (Special Group)
Identity and packaging for Quina Fina, a new brand of premium tonic water from
New Zealand that uses originally sourced quinine from Ecuador. The use of brown glass
acknowledges the medicinal heritage of quinine while the design conveys cues of
refinement, allowing it to stand out clearly in low lit bar environments. A mix of early metal
type styles recalls quality and attention to detail, subtly nodding to the past. Informed
by the texture of cinchona bark, the patterning reinforces the authenticity of the ingredients.

Auckland Theatre Company / Cabaret (Special Group)
Campaign identity for the provocative world of Michael Hurst's CABARET at
the Salon Perdu Spiegeltent, Auckland Theatre Company's very own Kit Kat Klub
— a brilliant combination of theatre and nightclub. Character-focused street
hoardings were placed around the Viaduct to tempt and tease passers-by,
hinting at what was inside, beckoning them to see the show.
Photography by Hannah Richards.

Air New Zealand / Hangar 9 Exhibition (Designworks)
Identity and exhibition graphics for the airline's revolutionary longhaul
experience. An empty warehouse was transformed into an exhibition
space to showcase the design story of Air New Zealand's
'Future taking flight'.

Orchestrate
Identity and stationery for a construction project management
company. Crafted typeface made of four modular building blocks,
rearragned to form letters and then words which are stacked to create
city-like structures.

Botany Wayfinding (Designworks)
Wayfinding and environmental graphics for Botany Town Centre.

Methven Home Spa (Designworks)
Packaging for a new range of home spa products, including Methven's
signature in-shower infusion system. The packaging suite brings to life imagery
that is sensually evocative.

A+E
Identity for the collaborative partnership that is Amber Parkin (writer)
and Emma Kaniuk (designer).

Britomart (Designworks)
Graphics for construction hoardings around the downtown precinct, developing
the brand that gives life and direction to the idea of 'cultural exchange' – a place
with heart and soul.
